TOPIC: In our culture, “conflict” often carries a negative connotation. When two or more people are gathered into a group, conflict exists. A certain level of conflict and tension are required for an organization to grow and indicates a healthy exchange of ideas and creativity. However, unchecked conflict can result in employee / tenant dissatisfaction, reduced productivity, poor service to clients, and increased chance of litigation based on claims of harassment. In short, unchecked conflict can lead to a toxic environment.
