The BOMA Georgia September Luncheon will be held at the Emory Conference Center Hotel on September 12, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. An optional Techrupt CRE-workshop, held from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. will be held prior to the Luncheon and will focus on the future of the real estate industry, specifically as it relates to the growing impact of technology. Those attending both the Workshop and the Luncheon will be eligible for three CE credits from the Georgia Real Estate Commission. Registrants must attend both events to receive their credits. The workshop, which will feature several speakers, will focus on how technology is changing the CRE industry and causing disruptions to the traditional business models.

The Luncheon's topic will be the Future of Workplace Strategies and will discuss how a changing industry is affecting best practices in today's business environment.

Lawrence Gellerstedt, WeWork Vice President of Real Estate for the Southeast Region.

The Luncheon program will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include two presentations: one on the future of workplace strategies and another on Smart Cities.

The BOMA Georgia Foundation advances real estate education and research and is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and contributions are deductible as charitable contributions under the law. Since the foundation was created, it has awarded over 200 scholarships, conducted five research projects, and released one white paper.
