This course provides information property and facility managers need to make management decisions about various building systems and sites, decisions that will increase occupant safety and comfort while facilitating building efficiency to meet the business goals of an organization. The course provides an understanding of electrical systems and lighting, elevator maintenance and modernization, and pest and solid waste management. It also covers security issues, fire and safety systems, and energy management concerns.

Important Update about Coursebooks:  As of February 2021, BOMI has made the decision that all students enrolled in BOMI classes will receive a digital course book (eBook) with their enrollment. To access the book, students will need to use an eReader on their computer, tablet, smartphone or other smart device.

Order a Printed Book: For an additional $69 charge, students that wish to receive a physical book can add the item to their registration.  The book will be available the first day of the course.
